English For transportation of goods plays a very important role packaging which allows the product to come unharmed to destination. Field of the packaging is very wide and has in Slovenia an important role in industry. Packaging is part of the logistics, so we should not forget the environmental awareness and favouring the use of environmentally friendly materials. Packaging is all around us and today there is almost no product that would not be packed. The purpose of packaging is to protect and maintain the product. When packing carry out its tasks, its purpose is fulfilled. Packaging is very heavily involved in our daily lives that we often forget its important role.
